... and a completely superficial, DG comment: Could these people at least TRY to look better even for an election photo? What is wrong with the professional photographers in this country? I mean, there isn't a lot to work with, but c'mon.... Smile?

I've been thinking about switching to Kuwait Times as well (I know that wasn't the main point of your post). Just curious, why did you make the switch? I'm fed up of Arab Times CONSTANTLY placing graphic pictures on the front page; I don't think Kuwait Times is as bad at that.

You are so right about Arab Times and its gory front page pictures (I'm kinda immune to it at this point though), but it has the MOST HILARIOUS Crimes (or Local News) section ever!
