Told ya so
I hate to say I told you so, but I told you so. Our employees who have been forced to use the fingerprint machine are coming in exactly on time and leaving exactly on time. If you are in the office even 5 minutes after official quitting time, there isn't a soul around. And now the question is being posed - Why? Duuuuuuuuuh. Treat your employees well and they treat the business well. Treat them poorly, and your business suffers. It is a very simple concept that perhaps some people just don't get.

Thanks for stopping by and it is so nice to hear from you! Just a few words on commenting: Through this blog, I won’t tolerate intolerance, hatred, finger-pointing or personal vendettas. If I even get those types of comments, I will most likely delete them because I believe it defeats the purpose of positive efforts and energy. Stop the hate.
I'd say most not just some....
ReplyDeleteYup, unfortunately, most....
ReplyDeletePlayed around with logical arguments to get rid of a similar system in our office, though was this close to playing around with the technical system using the vestiges of my engineering skills. The world is a much better place without a fingerprint machine.
ReplyDelete$h!T happens, eh?
well, if you try our company what would you say ?
ReplyDeletebefore in good times we had finger print ! and in last 6 month we have barrier gates, set up at enterance of elevators. we have to pass or cards to get to our offices otherwise we have to stay in lobby ! and when we go to our office if we want to use the coffeshop in the lobby we have to pass the gates which will reported to HR as "time out" time !it is even worth for folk who are smokers and end up with a long "time out" time.
