Mexican Restaurant Opening in Kuwait: Lita's

Finally, real Mexican!

From my source, the food will be authentic Mexican.  I'll have more details for you later.  The restaurant is to open next week sometime. Good luck to you, Litas!  I hope to see more branches around Kuwait in the not-so-distant future!

Located in the center of Mahboula.

Thanks, DW!

  1. We need GOOD restaurants in Kuwait... I'm so sick of eating out anywhere, it's so good to be in UK for awhile, at least when I go out for dinner I can guarantee I will get a good meal... it's sad really because all we really have in kuwait is food.....LOL They need to start bringing in REAL restaurants with REAL chefs...not being racist but im sick of my food being cooked by filipinos and indians....if i want italian, I want it cooked by an italian!!

  2. i have been longing for a good mexican joint to come to K-Town... Taco Bell was a disappointment... please let this be good... although usually these random places in mahboula are good

  3. Babble - I know what you mean. Most of the teams from the restaurant chains come over for no longer than 6 months to train staff (including chefs) and then leave. The food never tastes authentic after that and forget about consistency in quality (unless consistently bland is your thang).

Litas has a real live Mexican chef!! :) Imagine that. Living and working in Kuwait. I have never eaten a lot of Mexican food (with the exception of fajitas); my focus has always been on the margaritas before/during/and after. :)

  8. looks like another typical kuwait business with expat roots. opens for awhile then closes up. didnt take long to make a nice clean food joint and run with the money and shut the doors down.

  10. I ate their with some friends last night and the service was good. For freshly made food, the wait was expectedly, actually shorter than I expected. I had a chicken fajita and it was very good. They served us some churros drizzled with chocolate after which were also good. I will definitely be going back.
